A bit about me:
I am double major at UNT in Denton Texas (printmaking and art ed.). I enjoy making art. My style tends to be more on the illustrative side and I use a lot of pop culture appropriation. A friend asked why I still display my older, not as good, work on my DeviantART page and I feel like it's important to have it up as not only a reminder to keep creating and to practice my skills but to be able to see my growth and hope others do as well.

Ok...so there was a call put forth for artwork for The Nerdist podcast (one of my must listen to pods as it should be for you! :P ) to be used on the site when they do Hostful podcasts. I just happened to be on FB right when it got posted so of cousre, I went into action mode. I recently did a piece just for fun (as seen below) and so I thought it would be perfect for this. So, I tweaked it to the requested sizes and sent it off. I'm not a "first!" kind of person but I was really stoked when Chris sent me back an email saying he loved it and congrats, I got firsties! LOL So cool and exciting! :D

Thanks...yeah, I've been thinking the same thing...I'm so busy right now I barely get any downtime in to have the time to find more to join. It's one of my Thanksgiving break goals.
